摘要：

This paper develops a multisector growth model incorporating firm heterogeneity, financial frictions, and input–output linkages to examine the coexistence of rapid growth and resource misallocation during China’s gradual reform. It argues that downstream liberalization, combined with continued support for upstream state-owned enterprises, can expand intermediate input supply and promote growth when capital scarcity and financing constraints impede private sector expansion, even as such support induces static misallocation. As capital accumulates, however, the allocative efficiency losses associated with continued support may outweigh its growth benefits, highlighting how the trade-off between static misallocation and dynamic growth evolves across stages of development.

主讲人简介：

叶蕾，现任香港中文大学商学院决策、营运与技术学系助理教授。她先后获得上海交通大学经济学学士学位、香港中文大学经济学哲学硕士学位，以及圣路易斯华盛顿大学经济学博士学位。主要研究领域包括宏观经济学、经济增长与发展、企业动态和金融经济学。
