Call for papers
About the Conference
The 7th Northeast Asian Development and Innovation Symposium (NADIS) will be held in Liaoning University (LNU) on June 26th (Friday), 2026. Since 2020, the conference has been successfully held for six sessions. The current conference is once again organized by Li Anmin Institute of Economic Research (LIER) at Liaoning University, co-organized by School of Economics and School of International Economics and International Relations. The conference will invite well-known experts, young scholars, and editors of core journals from both domestic and international arenas for paper evaluations. Selected papers will be published in a special issue of the "Digital Economy and Sustainable Development" journal, and discussions are anticipated with active participation from global economists.
Building on the solid foundation established by previous conferences, starting from this session, the focus of the conference will expand from the Northeast Asia region to the entire Asia-Pacific region and even globally. The 7th Northeast Asian Development and Innovation Symposium (NADIS) aims to facilitate high-quality research by scholars from various countries on regional integration and financial development in not only the Northeast Asia region but also the entire Asia-Pacific region. The conference seeks to enhance communication and collaboration among domestic and international scholars in related research fields.
Research topics
We welcome both theoretical and empirical research papers related but not limited to the following topics:
1.Theory and Practice of Sustainable High-Quality Development of Chinese Modernization in the Digital Economy Era
2.Macro Development: Digital Economy, Green Trade, and Regional Development
3.Micro Development: Population, Education, and Labor in the Digital Transformation
4.Financial Development: Digital Finance, Green Finance, and Financial Innovation
Time
Tentative date is June 26th. Updates will be released on the official WeChat account and the official website of Li Anmin Institute of Economic Research https://lier.lnu.edu.cn/.
Paper Review
This conference only accepts papers in English, and about 20 papers are selected according to the topic classification (the final submission is determined according to the number of contributions) for presentation. The final list of selected papers will be available by June 15th, 2026.
There is no registration fee. We will provide meals for all presenters. Participants should be responsible for their transportation and accommodation expenses. Welcome to contribute to and participate in the workshop.
Submission
Please submit the full paper to desd@lnu.edu.cn before June 8th, 2026 (CST - China Standard Time). In your email, please use “The 7th Northeast Asian Development and Innovation Symposium (NADIS) at LNU-LIER +presenter name” as the title, and please indicate whether you could attend the conference in person upon acceptance. The attached manuscript document should be named by “presenter name + the title of your paper”. In the first page of manuscript, please list all the authors and the contacting information (name, working place, duty and professional title, phone number, e-mail and so on). All manuscripts must be in English, original, and must not be previously published.
The follow-up of workshop and the list of accepted papers to Digital Economy and Sustainable Development will be available online.

第七届东北亚区域合作发展和金融创新学术会议征文通知
第七届东北亚区域合作发展和金融创新学术会议将于2026年6月26日在辽宁大学举办，诚邀广大经济学者投稿。自2020年以来，会议已经成功举办6届。本届会议继续由辽宁大学李安民经济研究院（LIER）主办，经济学院和国际经济政治学院协办。会议将邀请国内外知名专家、青年学者以及核心期刊编辑进行论文点评。入选论文将被推荐发表于《Digital Economy and Sustainable Development》期刊专刊，期待全球经济学者积极参与讨论。
基于前几届会议打下的坚实基础，从本届会议开始，会议将研究的焦点从东北亚地区拓展至整个亚太地区乃至全球范围。第七届“东北亚区域合作发展和金融创新”学术会议旨在促进各国学者关于东北亚地区乃至整个亚太地区的高质量区域合作发展和金融创新的研究，增强国内外学者在相关研究领域的交流与合作。
一、征稿范围
本次会议欢迎关于理论研究和实证研究的学术论文，主题包括但不限于：
1.数字经济时代的中国式现代化高质量发展的理论与实践
2.宏观发展：数字经济、绿色贸易与区域发展
3.微观发展：人口、教育与数字经济转型下的劳动力
4.金融发展：数字金融、绿色金融与金融创新

三、论文评审
本会议仅接受英文投稿，根据主题分类挑选约20篇论文（最终根据投稿量确定）进行现场宣讲。最终入选论文名单将于2026年6月15日前公布。本次会议不收取注册费，承办方提供所有宣讲人的用餐。交通和住宿费用自理，欢迎大家踊跃投稿并积极参会。
